What Are Variable Speed Drives?

Introducing the VLG3 Series

The VLG3 series is a general-purpose, three-phase variable speed drive, engineered for versatility and ease of use. With power ratings ranging from 0.4 to 22 kW, 0.5 to 30HP, this new series integrates key features such as an EMC suppressor and braking chopper as standard. Its compact design supports side-by-side installation and offers flexible mounting options, including DIN rail and screw mounting.

Equipped with a front-facing keypad featuring a 7-segment LED display, a built-in potentiometer for frequency adjustments, and an RJ45 connector, the VLG3 ensures straightforward configuration and monitoring. It also includes an RS485 serial port with Modbus-RTU for seamless integration with PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory control networks. Additionally, an optional Ethernet communication module can be installed for enhanced connectivity.
