LOVATO Plastic: Construction of a new building in Bergamo HQ begins, a €14 million investment

LOVATO Electric annuncia con orgoglio l’inizio dei lavori per la costruzione di un nuovo e moderno edificio nella sede centrale di Gorle (Italy).

This €14 million investment marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and its production capacity.

The new building will cover an area of 4,800 square meters and will host two of the company’s strategic departments: the tooling department, where molds are built, and the plastic molding department, where plastic components are manufactured. This expansion will also free up space in the historic headquarters, where further important production investments are planned.

Innovation and Sustainability: A Cutting-Edge Building, an Investment in the Region and Employment.

The new facility will feature state-of-the-art systems designed to ensure maximum energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. It will also include a storage area for molds with seismic and fireproof features, ensuring the safety and protection of these key assets.

With the introduction of new technologically advanced machinery, LOVATO Plastic will significantly increase production capacity, along with speed and responsiveness to better meet market demands. The investment will also create new jobs, contributing to local economic development and strengthening the company’s ties to the region. Construction has just begun, with completion expected by August 2026.

Massimiliano Cacciavillani, CEO of LOVATO Electric, commented: “So much technology in one place. By concentrating many of our processes (R&D, prototyping, testing and validation labs, mold construction, plastic molding, electronic board production, assembly and testing lines, etc.) in a single production hub, we gain the advantage of being faster and more flexible than our competitors in responding to market trends, and more effective in bringing new products to market quickly.”

Through this new project, LOVATO Electric once again demonstrates its commitment to taking on ambitious challenges with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and the development of human capital.
