Interface protection systems PMVF81 and PMVF90
LOVATO Electric adds two new codes, PMVF81 and PMVF90 to its series of interface protection systems.
PMVF81 has been designed in compliance with German standards VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE V 0216-1-1 for low voltage, VDE-AR-N 4110 for medium voltage, and VDE-AR-N 4120 for high voltage.
These standards apply not only in Germany, but are also accepted or required in many other countries, including Switzerland, France, Romania, Croatia, South Africa, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Norway, India, Australia, and more. PMVF81 replaces the previous PMVF80 code, differing in more compact dimensions (4 modules vs. 6), an extended auxiliary power supply range (24…240 VAC/DC), and a higher number of integrated I/Os.
PMVF90 is designed for applications requiring three maximum voltage thresholds, for example, for installations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The devices include all necessary protections for voltage and frequency control according to their respective reference standards.
Both codes feature three relay outputs: two for controlling the IS device and the backup, and one programmable output, along with a log of the latest events.
They are also expandable with EXM series expansion modules for the integration of additional I/Os or a communication port of choice, such as Ethernet, RS485, USB, or RS232, for integration into a supervision network.
